Ms. Farber is an associate in the litigation department. Her practice encompasses complex civil litigation in federal and state courts. She also maintains an active pro bono practice representing nonprofit organizations and indigent litigants. Ms. Farber’s matters span a broad range of areas including bankruptcy litigation, complex contract disputes, and corporate fiduciary duties. Pro bono matters include advising clients on statutes and regulations governing 501(c) organizations, and defending nonprofits in civil litigation.

Highlights of Ms. Farber’s recent work include representation of the creditors’ committee of Residential Capital LLC (“ResCap”) in litigation arising in the ResCap bankruptcy, and success in obtaining dismissal of all claims brought against Gay Men’s Health Crisis in a breach of contract action.

Ms. Farber was honored by the Brooklyn Family Defense Practice in November 2013 for her commitment to social justice and dedication to the mission of keeping families together. She serves on the firm's Women’s Initiative Committee and the Environmental Committee. She is chair of the Taxation Subcommittee of the Non-Profits Organizations Committee of the New York City Bar Association.

Prior to joining Kramer Levin, Ms. Farber was a journalist for several major publications such as Harper's Magazine, The Christian Science Monitor, The Los Angeles Times, and Advertising Age. She also reported and produced journalistic pieces for National Public Radio.
