Russell J. Pinilis’s practice focuses on tax planning and structuring for asset managers and private investment funds, and fund formation. He has worked extensively with private equity investment funds, structuring their formation, assisting in the investment of capital commitments and representing portfolio companies in add-on transactions. He is experienced in advising corporations and partnerships on the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, leveraged buyouts and financing transactions. He has experience in both domestic and international matters.
