• Brett Shields works on matters involving federal, state, local and international tax issues, including the tax aspects of mergers and acquisitions, spinoffs, investments, partnerships and joint ventures, and real estate investment trusts.

    Prior to joining Kramer Levin, Brett worked as a manager in a mergers and acquisitions tax practice group for one of the Big Four accounting firms, in its New York City office.
