• Cindy B. Arnold has more than 30 years of legal administration experience — all with Kramer Levin, where she began her career as the assistant to the deputy executive director. As the firm grew, so did Cindy’s responsibilities, as she took on the roles of benefits coordinator, benefits and pension manager, and director of human resources.

Cindy has served as Kramer Levin’s chief human resources officer and as a managing director for the past nine years, overseeing operational areas including human resources, pension and benefits, general administration, secretarial and paralegal staff, wage and salary administration, staff recruiting, and training and development. She has built an effective support structure to accommodate the firm’s growth from 65 lawyers to more than 330, including the addition of the Paris and Silicon Valley offices as well as the acquisition of numerous lateral partner groups.

As a member of the Board of the Association of Legal Administrators, Cindy was a contributing author to the book Best Practices in Legal Management, writing chapters on performance evaluation, feedback and reviews.

Committed to helping others, Cindy is chair of the First Step Advisory Board (under the Coalition for the Homeless) and has been a member for seven years. First Step is an organization that helps formerly homeless and low-income women gain the skills and experience needed to find living-wage jobs. She also volunteers at St. Peters College assisting students with resume preparation and interview skills.
