• Hiroaki (Hiro) Nishikawara works closely with multinational organizations to address their immigration needs by strategizing around nonimmigrant visa processes involving the U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services and U.S. consular posts. He also guides clients on a wide range of immigration issues including compliance matters related to the employment of foreign national employees. Hiro’s work includes obtaining temporary work visas for intracompany transferees, specialty occupation professionals, executives, and supervisory or essential skills personnel, among others. In addition, he provides comprehensive guidance to help meet desired staffing and timing needs, and he works regularly in obtaining employment- and family-based immigrant visas and/or lawful permanent resident status as well as providing counsel on removing conditional status and applying for reentry permits where appropriate in order to maintain lawful permanent resident status.
