Business Immigration Seminar: New Developments in Business Immigration Law
On June 22, 2011, Kramer Levin's Business Immigration Group, led by partners Ted Ruthizer, Mark D. Koestler and Matthew S. Dunn, will host a seminar entitled "New Developments in Business Immigration Law" at the firm's New York offices.
The program will include discussions of the following topics:
- Essential Requirements of the Key Nonimmigrant and Immigrant Categories
- PERM Update
- Restrictive Interpretations of L-1 Essential Function Managers and Specialized Knowledge Employees
- H-1B Quota Concerns and Job Shop Restrictions
- Increased Worksite Enforcement, including H-1B site visits, I-9 audits, and E-Verify Pluses and Minuses
The panel of speakers will also include special counsel Naomi Schorr and associates Jennifer Raiola Danzo, Allison D. Gray, William Johnson and Jeffrey A. Barlekamp.
