Real Estate partners James P. Godman and Tzvi Rokeach have been named to Real Estate Weekly’s 2019 Real Estate Dealmakers list.

Jay was recognized for his notable work, including his representation of a joint venture between The Peebles Corporation and The El-Ad Group in the acquisition and financing of 108 Leonard Street (formerly 346 Broadway), which, at 419,000 square feet, is the single largest building ever sold by New York City. Jay advised the client in the formation of the joint venture and also negotiated the contract and related leaseback, and assisted with the financing for the acquisition. Also noted was Jay’s role in running the real estate side of VICI Properties Inc.’s acquisition of the land and real estate assets of the Greektown Casino-Hotel.

Tzvi was recognized for his multidisciplinary perspective in executing a wide range of sophisticated real estate transactions for leading developers, institutional investors, major lenders, Fortune 1000 corporations and prominent individual investors. Among his most recent notable representations was his role leading the lease team in VICI’s triple-net lease agreement with Penn National Gaming Inc. related to Greektown.
