Bankruptcy and Restructuring partner Kenneth H. Eckstein was among the Restructuring Leadership awards winners at the 11th Annual Turnaround Atlas Awards, held May 20, in New York. Ken received Restructuring Leadership – Law Award, recognizing his prominent role in many of the largest and most complicated Chapter 11 reorganizations over the past 30 years, including, most recently, Caesars, Toys R Us, The Republic of Argentina, Peabody Energy, Residential Capital and NII Holdings. The Leadership Awards recognize the top influencers in the industry, with distinguished record of revitalizing companies.

Kramer Levin also received awards as part of the deal teams in the following categories:

  • Turnaround of the Year – Mega (above US $10 billion): Oi S.A multi- jurisdiction restructuring
  • Cross Broder Turnaround of the Year – Mega (above US $5 billion): Seadrill restructuring
  • Chapter 11 Restructuring of the Year – Middle Markets: Lombard Public Facilities Corporation (LPFC) restructuring
