Kramer Levin successfully represented Neighbors Link, Corp. in its acquisition of the Immigration Community Law Practice of Pace University Law School. Neighbors Link, the 2016 silver prize winner of the New York Community Trust Nonprofit Excellence Award, provides numerous services to the immigrant community in New York, including offering support and education for families, English as a Second Language classes and job search and training skills for workers. Kramer Levin assisted in negotiating favorable terms for the master transaction document to govern the acquisition, for a real estate lease and for an intellectual property license agreement. Neighbors Link will now be able to also offer immigration legal services through the community law practice. The Kramer Levin team included Corporate partner James A.
