Kramer Levin was awarded M&A Advisor’s 2017 Private Equity Deal of the Year (over $1 billion) for its representation of Stone Point Capital in connection with its purchase, together with KKR and other investors, of a majority stake in Focus Financial Partners, a leading partnership of independent, fiduciary wealth management firms. The award was presented at the 16th Annual M&A Advisor Awards Gala, which was held at the Metropolitan Club in Manhattan on Nov. 13.
