Kramer Levin advised the issuer, the arranger and the investors on the first Euro PP bond issue by Constructel Constructions et Télécommunications for € 35 million. The bonds, with six years maturity, have been subscribed by institutional investors. The transaction has been arranged by Aurel BGC.

Constructel maintains and builds telecommunication networks in France and Belgium. It also operates in Portugal, Italy, Denmark and in Germany through subsidiaries. It is the primary line of business of Visabeira Group, one of the most important industrial groups in Portugal.

The proceeds of the bonds will be utilized to finance external growth of Constructel in the United-Kingdom, where they recently acquired the telecommunication branch of MJ Quinn, one of the main suppliers to British Telecom.

The Kramer Levin team was led by partner Hubert de Vauplane and senior associate Manaf Triqui.
