We are pleased to announce the firm’s enhanced parental leave policy. Under the new policy, all eligible employees — lawyers and staff, regardless of parenting role — are entitled to 12 weeks’ paid leave of absence in connection with the birth, adoption or foster care placement of a child. The 12 weeks is in addition to any paid disability relating to pregnancy and/or delivery. This new policy applies to births, adoptions and foster care placements occurring on or after Jan. 1, 2020.

This new policy reflects Kramer Levin’s commitment to being an employer of choice among elite law firms as well as our family-minded culture.
