Theodore (Ted) Ruthizer, partner and co-chair, has more than 30 years of experience in the field, and is recognized as one of the country’s leading immigration lawyers. Mr. Ruthizer is a past president and general counsel of the American Immigration Lawyers Association (AILA). He is a Lecturer in Law at Columbia Law School, where he teaches an advanced seminar in immigration law and policy. Additionally, Mr. Ruthizer is a past chair of the New York State Bar Association’s Immigration Law Committee. He was the recipient of the Legal Aid Society’s Award for Outstanding Pro Bono Service in 2003 and 2010, and Legal Services NYC’s 2008 Pro Bono Award.

Mark Koestler, partner and co-chair, is known nationally for his work with advertising agencies, theater and film production companies, and Tony Award and Academy Award winners. From 2003-2004, he was Chair of AILA’s New York Chapter and was also a member of AILA’s Board of Governors. A past member of AILA’s National Customs and Border Protection Liaison Committee, he also served as Co-Chair of the New York Chapter’s Corporate Practice Committee and Vice Chair of the Department of Labor Liaison Committee.

Matthew Dunn, partner, has a national reputation in immigration law, especially in the areas of finance, health care, and technology. Mr. Dunn is Co-Chair of the New York State Bar Association’s Immigration and Nationality Law Committee. He is a past chair of AILA’s New York Chapter, and was also a member of AILA’s governing Board of Directors. Mr. Dunn is also a member of the New York City Bar Association’s Immigration and Nationality Law Committee. Mr. Dunn served as an Assistant District Counsel for the Immigration and Naturalization Service and as an Assistant District Attorney in Suffolk County, New York. Additionally, he is the Associate Editor of the Occupation Guide Book Series, which focuses on immigration issues for nurses and allied health care professionals.

Naomi Schorr, special counsel, has more than 20 years of experience in the field and is well-known for her scholarship and cutting edge strategies in dealing with employment-based immigration matters. Consistently rated as one of the leading immigration attorneys in the country, she is a member of the Editorial Board of Bender's Immigration Bulletin, a major publication in the field, and she writes a column for that journal about the frustrating issues and problems facing business immigration lawyers.
