Kramer Levin received the Antitrust Enforcement Award for Outstanding Antitrust Litigation Achievement in Private Law Practice at the American Antitrust Institute's 2017 Antitrust Enforcement Awards, held on Nov. 7, 2017, in New York.
Kramer Levin was one of five law firms recognized for their work in The Dial Corporation, et al. v. News Corporation, et al, in which the trial team secured a $250 million settlement for consumer packaged goods companies including H.J. Heinz Co. LP and The Dial Corp. in an antitrust class action against News Corp. and affiliated co-defendants alleging that the defendants monopolized the third-party in-store promotions market. The settlement was reached in February 2016 following opening statements at trial.
