The Real Estate department has been named one of Law360’s “Practice Groups of the Year,” for 2018. Firms were chosen for the significance and complexity of the matters and transactions the groups worked on in the past year. The firm also made the list in 2014 and 2012.

Kramer Levin’s Real Estate department has worked on many of the major real estate and land use projects in New York City in the past year, including advising The Walt Disney Company in connection with its acquisition of 4 Hudson Square, a 99-year lease worth approximately $650 million, as well as the sale of its ABC Campus for approximately $1.2 billion; advising The Nederlander Organization on a complex development structure at 1568 Broadway, allowing for a $2 billion renovation of the building including raising the landmarked theater 30 feet and unifying Times Square signage; and advising VICI Properties in connection with the $749 million acquisition and leaseback by VICI of real estate assets owned by Caesars Entertainment Corporation and modifications to certain existing lease agreements between the companies.

Kramer Levin is one of only six firms selected as one of the Practice Groups of the Year in the Real Estate category.
