Jordan Estes has joined Kramer Levin’s New York office as a partner in the firm’s White Collar Defense and Government Investigations practice. Jordan most recently served as an assistant United States attorney for the Southern District of New York (SDNY), where she was co-chief of the General Crimes Unit and a senior member of the Securities and Commodities Fraud Task Force.

Jordan served as lead or co-lead prosecutor on 13 criminal trials during her eight years with the Department of Justice, including trials involving securities fraud, insider trading, bank fraud, health care fraud and racketeering offenses. She also supervised more than a dozen trials and hundreds of cases related to financial crimes. 

Prior to serving with the SDNY, Jordan worked as a litigation associate. She earned her J.D., cum laude, from Harvard Law School and her B.A., summa cum laude, from the University of Mississippi.
