The New York Observer’s “Commercial Real Estate in Memorium 2012” column remembered Land Use counsel Sandy H. Lindenbaum, who passed away in August. The article recalled Mr. Lindenbaum’s work with Donald Trump, Harry Macklowe and Vornado, among others. It noted that he was instrumental in securing the rights for erecting Trump World Tower, putting the Apple Store in the General Motors Building and building 15 Penn Plaza.

Land Use partner Michael T. Sillerman was quoted as saying that Mr. Lindenbaum was "an institution in New York State real estate," and added that "Clients came to him because of his brilliance, his creativity, his economy of advice, his reliability, his strong experience...his wit and his humor and his ability to find a successful way out of the darkest or most challenging problem."
