  • Kramer Levin’s Private Credit practice recognizes the indispensable role private credit plays in today’s economy. Over the last 15 years, nonbank lenders have taken a more prominent role as a source of debt capital in a broad range of markets and activities.

Our Private Credit practice convenes our existing groups that focus on working with nonbank borrowers and lenders, including credit fund sponsors, hedge and private equity funds, investors, and loan originators of all varieties. Integrally involved in our clients’ entire life cycle, our Private Credit practice ensures comprehensive support drawing upon our depth of industry knowledge and extensive experience across the borrowing and lending community. We counsel private credit lenders of every variety, offering advice at every business stage.

Collaborating across Banking and Finance, Bankruptcy, Derivatives and Structured Products, Distressed Investing, Leveraged Finance, Litigation, Private Funds, Securitization and Structured Finance, Special Situations, and Tax, we offer sophisticated, personalized service and deliver innovative and pragmatic solutions.

Our approach blends the agility of boutique firms with the depth of experience found in larger institutions, ensuring our clients receive tailored guidance that meets their unique needs at every stage of growth and leverages our collective knowledge to optimize and protect assets.
