Kramer Levin Client VICI Completes Acquisition of Two Casino-and-Hotel Properties in Mississippi
On Dec. 22, 2022, Kramer Levin client VICI Properties Inc. (NYSE: VICI), an experiential real estate investment trust, announced that it completed transactions with Foundation Gaming & Entertainment, LLC (Foundation Gaming) pursuant to which VICI acquired all of the real estate assets associated with the Fitz Casino & Hotel, located in Tunica, Mississippi and the WaterView Casino & Hotel, located in Vicksburg, Mississippi, for $293.4 million in cash. Simultaneous with the closing of the acquisition, VICI entered into a triple-net lease agreement for the two casino-and-hotel properties with subsidiaries of Foundation Gaming.
