• Lauren T. Katz works on real estate and environmental matters, assisting in the representation of clients in purchases and sales, joint ventures, loans and commercial leases. Lauren’s work involves drafting and reviewing transactional documents, conducting due diligence, coordinating closing and post-closing activities, and performing environmental reviews in connection with real estate, corporate, and bankruptcy and restructuring transactions.

    Some of Lauren’s most recent work involves drafting and reviewing transaction documents, and conducting environmental and real estate due diligence reviews, for several complex transactions including a multi-state acquisition of 38 bowling centers; and the acquisition of the leasehold interest in New York City’s preeminent sports and entertainment complex, Chelsea Piers, by an S&P 500 experiential real estate investment trust, for which she also coordinated and oversaw various key aspects of the transaction.

    Lauren also dedicates time to pro bono matters, including assisting a nonprofit organization acquire operational space in Brooklyn and a veteran obtain service-connected benefits.
