Nicolas Capelli has joined Kramer Levin as a partner focused on structuring private equity funds and secondary transactions. Nicolas’s wealth of experience significantly enhances the firm’s position in this strategic sector.

Nicolas advises management companies in the structuring of private equity investment funds, funds of funds, and venture capital, mezzanine loan and infrastructure deals, as well as French or foreign institutional investors. He also regularly assists management companies and sponsors in secondary transactions.

Accompanied by his colleague, Olivia Le Goff, Nicolas will join the asset management and investment funds team.

Nicolas holds a Master 2 DJCE from the University of Caen (2011) and a master’s degree in international risk management from HEC Paris (2012). He was admitted to the Paris Bar in 2015.

With more than 10 years of experience, Nicolas has worked in renowned firms in Paris, London and Luxembourg. His focus on private equity and international funds has enabled him to develop in-depth experience consulting for management companies, banks and businesses, particularly in the areas of secondary transactions, national and international fundraising, and the structuring of funds and their documentation.

Olivia focuses on asset management. She is involved in the drafting of regulations, legal opinions and letters of intent, as well as in the authorization of asset managers and disciplinary procedures. Working as a lawyer since being admitted to the Paris Bar in 2020, Le Goff holds a Master 2 in banking and financial law from the University of Montpellier (2016). She also holds a master’s degree in international business law and management from ESSEC Business School (2017) and a Master of Laws degree in international financial law from Kings College of London (2019).
