Kramer Levin is pleased to announce that Thierry Bonneau, a professor at Paris II University, has joined the firm's Banking and Finance team as a consultant.

In a joint statement, Paris Banking and Finance co-chairs Gilles Kolifrath and Hubert de Vauplane said: “Professor Bonneau brings in-depth knowledge of European and international banking and financial regulation and adds value to the insight we offer clients into the financial markets.”

Prof. Bonneau focuses his research on civil law, banking and financial law, and international financial and banking regulation and teaches the following subjects: Banking Law, Financial Markets Law, European and International Banking and Financial Regulation, Listed Companies and Securities, Financial European Law. He also gives courses abroad, including in Singapore and Mauritius. He recently held conferences in Canada, Colombia and Romania.

In addition to his professorship at Paris II University, Prof. Bonneau is co-director of the Revue de droit bancaire et financier, Chairman of the Scientific Board of the Revue Internationale des Services Financiers (RISF) and a member of the Editorial Board of Banque & Droit, of the Joly bourse bulletin and of the Revue trimestrielle de droit financier (RTDF). He is also in charge of case law chronicles in financial law (Revue de droit bancaire et financier) and banking law (Revue Banque et Droit).
