• Clément Vandevooghel advises a diverse clientele, including financial institutions, asset managers, servicers, corporates, private equity funds, and insurance and reinsurance companies, on a wide range of financial transactions, such as structured finance, securitizations, loan portfolio sales, debt capital markets and asset-backed financing, in both domestic and international markets. Clément’s work also includes establishing debt funds and dedicated “originate to distribute” platforms with institutional investors.

He has participated in numerous public and private transactions in the securitization area across a variety of asset types, including commercial and residential mortgage-backed securities, consumer loans, trade receivables, corporate loans, credit card receivables, auto loans and leases, nonperforming loans, equipment leases, insurance-linked receivables, public sector receivables, infrastructure loans, and project bonds.

Both Chambers and Legal 500 have recognized Clément for his work in derivatives and structured finance — in particular, “loan portfolio sales (including non-performing loans), asset-backed lending and debt capital markets,” and securitization programs. Clients praise him for “his professionalism and great availability.”
