Kramer Levin advised the Oodrive group, a European leader in the management of sensitive content, in acquiring SELL&SIGN, an all-in-one electronic signature solution developed and marketed by Calinda Software.

Cofounded in 2014 by Alexandre Mermod, chief executive officer, and Sébastien Bassompierre, chief technical officer, SELL&SIGN stands out in the qualified digital signature sector, thanks to an innovative,easy-to-use all-in-one offer allowing users to ratify their documents while improving transaction security.

The solution complements the Oodrive collaborative platform, which provides companies with the following features:

  • Sharing and collaboration, with oodrive_share
  • Digitization of sensitive meetings, with oodrive_meeting
  • Visual and media heritage management, with oodrive_media
  • Backup, with oodrive_save
  • Electronic signature with oodrive_sign

This acquisition aims to boost Oodrive's performance in developing its sharing and collaboration application suite. The group intends to deploy its expertise in electronic signatures to become a significant player in Europe within three years.
