Our pro bono work with organizations like Her Justice provides our attorneys the opportunity to focus on underserved communities, like low income women dealing with divorce, custody, and order of protection issues.

Since 1998, dozens of Kramer Levin attorneys have participated in the firm’s Attorney Service Program at Brooklyn Legal Services, providing hands-on representation to hundreds of low-income tenants.

For more than twenty years, Kramer Levin has been a proud workplace sponsor and supporter of Fountain House, an organization dedicated to the recovery of men and women with mental illness.

Kramer Levin partner Jeffrey Trachtman has been recognized throughout his career for his commitment to pro bono work, including winning the American Bar Association's prestigious Pro Bono Publico Award in 2013.

Kramer Levin just wrapped up its 14th consecutive summer internship with Legal Outreach, Inc., a non-profit that prepares students from underserved communities in New York City for college and careers by helping them develop professional skills.
