    Representing a broad range of organizations, we help our tenant clients lease spaces of all sizes across all asset classes throughout the country, ranging from corporate headquarters in Manhattan to regional sales centers in Nashville. Our lawyers are often called upon to represent major institutions with significant national tenant-side leasing portfolios. In this capacity, our clients rely on us to provide value-focused counsel and to coordinate with their national operations teams to ensure a consistent approach across properties. This harmonized approach allows for efficient and seamless transactions and solidifies our reputation as trusted advisers to clients including Jefferies, New York Life Insurance Co., Lazard, BNP Paribas, Blue Owl Capital and Institutional Shareholder Services.

    We also structure and negotiate commercial leases for property owners. A key to our success in this area is that we understand our clients’ challenges, goals and strategies for the leasing of an asset as a whole and how those objectives must be realized in each individual space lease transaction.

    Locally, working with our Environmental practice, we have a strong understanding of New York City’s Local Law 97 (which imposes carbon emission standards on commercial properties) and its potential impact on the economics of a lease transaction. Our knowledge of the law and sense of the market enable us to be effective advocates for our clients on this hot-button issue.
