In recent years, our diversity and pro bono efforts have earned considerable recognition:

  • In Vault’s 2019 Law Firm Rankings, Kramer Levin was named a Top 10 Best Law Firm for Pro Bono. The firm also named a Top 15 Best Law Firms for Restructuring/Bankruptcy and in the Top 25 for LGBT Diversity.

  • In Vault’s 2018 Law Firm Rankings, Kramer Levin was ranked within the top 20 for Diversity for LGBT and Best Law Firms to Work For.
  • In the 2017 and 2018 Corporate Equality Index, Kramer Levin received a top rating of 100% and the distinction of “Best Places to Work for LGBT Equality” by the Human Rights Campaign Foundation.
  • Kramer Levin is part of an alliance of 44 law firms piloting the ideas from the Inaugural Diversity Lab hosted Women in Law Hackathon. The firm is continuing the work of this initiative into 2018 with a pilot program for Women in Leadership.
  • Kramer Levin received the Pro Bono Leadership Award, Legal Services NYC consecutively for the last 4 years (2014-2017).
  • The firm has been profiled in 2017 as One of 2016’s 17 Pro Bono Matters that Big Law Championed for its’ work on  Touro Synagogue by The American Lawyer.
  • Kramer Levin received the Pro Bono Award for Outstanding Advocacy in Championing the Rights of the Accused, by the Legal Aid Society in 2016.
